Got special-education paperwork?
Paste it below, or upload a photo. You will see, in plain language, what the document is, your timeline, the rule behind it, and your options. It will not tell you what to do or predict the result. For that, a free Parent Center can help.
Your paperwork never leaves this page. Whether you paste the text or read a photo, it stays on your device, with no server and no account. Pasted text even works with your internet off.
Before you trust a word of this
This is information, not advice. It explains your rights under federal special-education law and your options. It does not give legal advice, choose a path for you, file anything, or predict how things turn out.
Your state and district add rules. IDEA is the federal floor; your state and school may set their own timelines and steps. Verify the specifics for yours, and read dates off your own paperwork.
Some clocks are short. A discipline manifestation review runs within 10 school days, and a due process complaint generally must be filed within 2 years. When in doubt, act early.
Free, expert help exists. Every state has a federally funded Parent Training and Information Center (PTI) that helps parents for free. Find your Parent Center.
